Hi, I’m Amani — a Tunisian expat, writer, traveler, wife and mom who has spent more than a decade building a life across different countries.
I’ve lived in the UAE, South Korea and China, and I’m currently based in New York, United States. Moving across countries taught me that international life can be exciting, beautiful and full of opportunity — but it can also come with a lot of paperwork, planning, school decisions, packing, cultural adjustment and “why did nobody tell me this?” moments.
What AmaniBejaoui.com is about
This site is for women, moms and families who are thinking about moving abroad, already living overseas, or simply want to travel more confidently.
Here you’ll find practical moving-abroad guidance, family travel ideas, real expat experiences, destination inspiration, home and lifestyle content, and useful resources that make international life a little easier.
Why I share this
I’m not interested in pretending expat life is one endless vacation. I want to share the useful parts too: the documents we forget, the school records we suddenly need, the packing decisions, the cultural surprises, the travel mistakes, the homes we create in new places and the lessons we learn along the way.
When I recommend a hotel, service, product, travel tool or resource, the goal is simple: it should be something I genuinely believe could make your experience better.
What’s coming
AmaniBejaoui.com is growing into a practical resource for international living, with guides, checklists, moving planners, travel recommendations, trusted services and eventually a newsletter for readers who want useful expat and travel ideas without the fluff.
If you’re planning a move, raising a family abroad, dreaming about another country, or simply figuring out where “home” is this year, you’re in the right place.
Welcome — I’m glad you’re here.
Amani
